Unusual song 🐦

A few days ago, I was awakened by a 'DJ' birdie at the early morning hours - 5:45 am. This was also one of the days when I abruptly wokeup at 3 am and was trying hard to get back to sleep for the remaining two and a half hour before the morning rush. But fate had this birdie, which seemed to be a new entrant in the locality, young blood, would choose the tallest tree right opposite my house as her performance delivery stage and has a lot to sing about. Unfortunately, I do not quite yet get the translation :).

In my ten plus years of being in this locality, I never heard any Bulbul singing this long song and with such enthusiasm. Yes, you guessed it right! The DJ birdie too was from 'Bulbul' clan.

Even in my three quarter sleepy state, I was drawn towards it's melodious morning gig. And because my bed was too close to the window, that, faced the tall pine-like tree the chirping was even more clear to me as if I was at the front row of an Opera show....just that I was still laying in my bed.

At first few chirps, which were a bit disturbing (I dislike to admit that) because I was just about to get some sleep and thought it's a random occurance and would disappear but it started to grew louder and melodious and later I was atuned to it just could stop attentively listening to it. The melody was full of joy and I was questioning myself what brings her this much joy early in the morning? And I recorded the sound.

I later shared it on my family chat group and Dad was quick to pull my leg saying that the bird must be attending to it's nature's call and probably shooing me away - DND ! πŸ˜€πŸ«£. Me being my Papa's daughter, was quick to reply - Unlike us (humans), birds are free to fly and poop freely from the sky' πŸ˜„πŸ˜„

Well, it was indeed an unusual song that I heard. My sensitive heart waited a few days to see if it was one of those random occurance and if the bird was probably lost her way and visited us ...but the bird never left me and eventually I grew closer to her singing and would wait for it to welcome me to my mornings.❣️

[Two days later]

I am back from office, stepping out of the cab...and I hear the same voice and my heart lit-up with the joy and comfort I found in hearing that voice again, felt I am welcomed back home 🏑
